Many consider it Scotland\u2019s most spectacular castle, ruins or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The site has been occupied for more than 1,500 years. This is where the <strong>Scottish Crown Jewels<\/strong> were hidden during Cromwell\u2019s army\u2019s siege in 1651\u20131652.
