May to September<\/strong> is the ideal window. Temperatures range from 12 to 20\u00b0C during the day \u2014 perfect for hiking and exploring, and the nights are manageable with a good sleeping bag.<\/p>
June and July<\/strong> offer the maximum daylight: up to 18 hours of daylight in the Highlands. This means you can hike until 9 PM, get back to camp, cook at your leisure, and it's still light outside. It's a luxury you really only appreciate once you're there.<\/p>
